Bourton

Bourton is a popular village that lies on the Somerset/Dorset border. It has a number of excellent facilities including a garage with post office and store, village hall, primary school, church and the popular White Lion Public house. Silton doctor’s surgery is located to the edge of the village and the nearby towns of Wincanton and Gillingham provide a range of services such as supermarkets, petrol stations and leisure centres. Bourton lies adjacent to the A303 which provides excellent links to both London and the South. Mainline Train stations at nearby Gillingham and Castle Cary also serve London Waterloo (2 hours) and Bath. The cities of Salisbury, Bath and Bristol are within an hours drive.
